Hats
Under no circumstances should any rider partake in this sport without adequate head protection. All hats should conform to the required European Standard EN1384.
Upper Body
A suitable hard wearing jacket is advised, depending on weather conditions this would need to be waterproof. When selecting a jacket or top please ensure your movement will not be restricted. We also advise that you consider the use of a body protector, especially when undertaking any jumping activity.
Hands
A good pair of riding gloves never goes amiss, especially when riding in wet conditions. Jewellery should be removed with the exception of watches and wedding rings.
Lower Body
Legs must be covered at all times, i.e. no shorts or skirts. We recommend a pair of thick leggings or trousers that offer adequate freedom of movement.
Footwear
We recommend riding boots or jodhpur boots however any closed toe flat shoe with a small heel will be acceptable, training shoes should not be worn.
